Appreciation Post – Paige Watson

By April 22, 2026No Comments

Unfortunately, saying thank you seems to be an afterthought more and more. So at least once a month, I will take a few minutes to publicly appreciate someone that has had an impact on me.

This round:  Paige Watson

As usual, I stink at remembering first introductions.  But I smile each time our paths cross and the most recent is what I want to highlight.

There’s something powerful about people who show up as their full, unfiltered selves—and that’s exactly what Paige brought to Agile Open Northwest. During one session, Paige’s willingness to be vulnerable created space for the rest to do the same.

One of my favorite moments was the music jam session he led. I’ll be honest—I have zero musical talent—but that didn’t matter. I got to simply listen, take it in, and be part of something creative and alive.

And beyond these moments, what also stood out was his commitment to bringing college students into the community. That intentional inclusion matters. It’s how we keep ideas fresh, perspectives diverse, and the future of this space strong.

Grateful for the energy, openness, and heart Paige brought to the conference. It made a difference.
