Unfortunately, saying thank you seems to be an afterthought more and more. So at least once a month, I will take a few minutes to publicly appreciate someone that has had an impact on me.
This round: Women’s Leadership Retreat
Late last year, I invited a handful of friends to join me in San Juan PR for a women’s leadership retreat. I fully disclosed this was a test event that I was exploring to see if there was value and if I wanted to make this a regular thing.
The short answer was yes to both. The long answer is really an appreciation for the 10 women that joined me. Each of them were understanding, open, vulnerable, helpful and engaged the entire time. Whether we were just relaxing at the pool or fighting the ocean waves, there was sharing, laughter and tears. Then afterwards, each helped with suggestions on what to do the next time. I couldn’t have asked for a better result all around.
I appreciate each one of you. I was able to relax, learn and recharge. Thank you!
Sorry, no pictures per the request of the group…at least public ones 🙂
