Appreciation Post – Angela Reichling

By February 22, 2023No Comments

Unfortunately, saying thank you seems to be an afterthought more and more.  So at least once a month, I will take a few minutes to publicly appreciate someone that has had an impact on me.

This round:  Angela Reichling

I met Angela when we were 10 years old in 5th grade.  She’s been my best friend all of these years (not listing the current count as it makes me feel old, let’s just say a LOT of years).

When I decided to do this post, I almost got overwhelmed by all the things I could appreciate. So I’m going to focus on a few specific elements that help me stay sane as a professional working woman.

Thank you for letting me say anything, and sometimes I do mean ANY completely inappropriate-should never be repeated or even said for that matter, anything that helps me release stress, frustration, etc.  Thank you for helping give me a sounding board if I’m the insane one or how to proceed forward in some crazy situation.  Thank you for being an example of learning and growth that inspires me to continue to push myself and others for a better world.  Thank you for being a distraction when you know I have to stop overthinking.  Thank you for challenging me when I consider walking away from opportunities.  Thank you for knowing what I can’t articulate yet and helping me find the words.  Thank you for respecting, valuing and loving me.

I appreciate you and our intertwined lives so much.  Probably borderline co-dependency issues but whatever, we have the time served to justify that 🙂
