Unfortunately, saying thank you seems to be an after thought more and more. So at least once a month, I will take a few minutes to publicly appreciate someone that has had an impact on me.

This round:  Rachel Howard I met Rachel many years ago in the Agile community.  When we met, there was just this super easy comfortable relationship as if we had known each other forever.  As the years have gone by, that dynamic remains completely true.  We pick up right where we left off with this ease and mutual understanding of the worlds we live in. I wanted to focus this appreciation on something that we started a while ago.  We intermittently have happy hour.  When we can align it – we target in person at some conference.  When we can’t, we do them virtually.  Yes, even before all of the stay at home pandemic craziness.  So in some ways, our continued conversations has been a little bit of normal in a completely not normal situation.  She is this combination of caring and supportive, mixed with sass and spunk, mixed with a complete willingness to engage on a deeper level with someone.   I am beyond grateful for our conversations and laughs over the years but especially now.  You make time for our friendship and that means the world. Thank you my friend, Tricia Picture from LinkedIn
