Everyone has ticks, taglines, mottos, etc. I’m no different. Some I’m embarrassed by, others I’m proud of. Since I normally talk about things I struggle with, I’m going to focus on the positive one today.

I noticed that I have a common response whenever anyone thanks me for taking time with them…Always. I could say you’re welcome but that’s not enough for me. I say always very intentionally. What I mean by it is several things:

  • I’m glad I helped.
  • I would do it again in a heartbeat.
  • I expect that our relationship continues.
  • And it is my way of saying I expect myself to be helpful to others

I really do mean always. I will always find time. I will always try to help. I will always appreciate having these opportunities.

What’s something you intentionally say that has multiple meanings?
