Ok. So I’ve held back from dedicating a post to upcoming public training that I’m giving but I’m too excited to not share.
First up: Certified ScrumMaster April 27-28
For everyone that knows my stance on certifications, this could seem like a strange public training that I’m giving. A major change had to do with my understanding of what could be in a Certified ScrumMaster course. I’ve seen too many that focus on the basics of Scrum (which is good) but not on what it truly means to be a ScrumMaster. It’s not an easy role. Agile For All is working on an online Scrum basics training, which would facilitate us as trainers to focus more in depth on the role of ScrumMaster. This appeals to me! Second, as I’m not a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST – which I’m in process of obtaining hopefully), I get to co-train this with Michele Sliger. Words cannot express how awesome that is! I’ve known Michele for several years and to get the opportunity to work and learn in a collaborative environment, well, I feel very lucky. Add that to the increased learning for any attendees with both of our minds…seriously do I even need to further explain this decision?!?!
Second: Training from the BACK of the Room June 1-2
Based on the feedback from last November’s class, as well as, the continued requests to hold another class…doing this class again was just a no brainer. I’ve written quite a bit about the value learning the art of training has brought to my leading and speaking abilities – so I won’t repeat it. I’ll just say, you should attend 🙂
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to message me. Back to my regular scheduled weekly posts next week.
