Unfortunately, saying thank you seems to be an after thought more and more.  So at least once a month, I will take a few minutes to publicly appreciate someone that has had an impact on me.

This round:  Jessica Small

I met Jessica several years ago when I volunteered to help with the Agile Alliance conference.  It didn’t take long for me to fall in love with her personality and high heels.

Although I would see her every year at this conference, this past year as a program chair has facilitated getting to interact with her more.  She is on top of so many details and tasks that are required for this conference, which absolutely helps minimize my stress of forgetting something.  This could be thanked all by itself but there is something even better about Jessica.  She makes these tasks fun.  I really don’t know how you make proofing a schedule fun but somehow I’m laughing before I even start.

So thank you. Thank you for keeping us program track people in line with humor and a smile 🙂

You’re absolutely right, Tricia: Jessica is wonderful. I met her through working together on one of the very first Agile 200x conferences and have been consistently impressed with everything about her.

    Thanks for posting this.
