What’s the post-it note to myself that I want on the corner of my computer to be remembered for next year…
These last two years, in particular, have been chaotic. Ups, downs, wins, and losses. I’m always great at being super difficult on myself. The narrative I will tell myself is sometimes a little disturbing. Yet, I would never say that narrative to someone else.
So this is my test for when my insecurities and disappointment get the best of me. Would I say that to someone else? If no, I am not allowed to say it to myself. I have no illusion this will be easy but maybe, just maybe, if we all start giving ourselves the same leadership we try to give others…we’ll make it through all of this.
See you in 2022, this lady is offline for the rest of the year!
