I realize that this post might be a borderline advertisement plug but I was not requested to do this. I truly have become a marker snob.  My Agile For All team introduced me to Neuland Markers two years ago and now I turn my nose up at other markers.

Short top reasons I love these markers:

  • I’m left-handed.  Do you know how hard it is to find pens and markers that don’t end up all over my hand?!?!?  The only time I’ve had ink on me is when I try to get greedy and juggle four markers in my hand at once.
  • They are refillable. I am not the world’s best with my environmental footprint, so every little bit helps.
  • There are a variety of colors and are always bright with each use.
  • I’m able to throw them in one bag and easily carry them around with me for trainings. This probably applies to all markers but whatever 🙂
  • I have the “Big One” versions and normal – so my options for graphic facilitation have increased
  • Maybe I would have experienced this with other markers (more about timing) but since I didn’t – Neuland gets credit.  I’m challenging myself to draw more.  Jake Calabrese and I even have an ongoing friendly contest over drawing an elephant.

Do you have a tool that has made you a snob?
